Punam - I had a look at your website, and wanted you to know that I find your story an inspiration. While I haven't had the opportunity to see your films as of yet, I'm looking forward to it.

India is one of my favorite places in the world, and I'm looking forward to returning & producing photography for grassroots organizations.

As I continue to develop my own place in the world of documentary work, your story & website is added confirmation of my path. It was a pleasure to meet you, and I look forward to our paths crossing again.

Hey, Punam...I just had an opportunity to navigate your website and have delighted in taking a little walk down memory lane as I did so...photos of you from early dance days, the Bollywood-Hollywood premiere, Belles (!), and making your directing debut with The Lesson. What an inspiration you are! Your creative spark ignites the very air you move through, and all of us who have had the good fortune to share that space have had our lives touched in remarkable, and memorable, ways. I can hardly wait to find out what you're going to tackle next!

You are so incredibly talented my friend. In addition to your other work, the 5Q Series is a brilliant concept and everyone in film/media can learn something from your style.

Your spirit, so astoundingly lovely when I first met you and ever-growing each time we cross paths, shines out from even these pages - you are such a bright light! I have not had the fortune of seeing your films - how can i do that someday soon? And meet your son again?

just wanted to tell you I was really impressed by your vision and excellence - I have children who have followed their passions in music (Jazz of all things), and yes, they don't really fit into the mainstream of how education is viewed. But how can you not support your kids who are following their passions?
You're video on reading to your son was so precious - his expressions were priceless!

Hello Punam:

I just visited your blog and Reading to Jodh clip...simply amazing! It took me back to when Vishu and Vibhu were babies and I used to read to them...I want to share with you that before they knew the alphabets they were reading the books by the pictures alone, not the words...people thought they could actually read. lol. Keep it up with Jodh, he will love reading as he grows...maybe through Amazon Kindle or tablettes or some such contraptions...I am proud of my daughter being associated with an awesome talented artist and film maker.
